Came in for a restful night but ran into trouble with the pull-out couch in the king suite—no linens at arrival. The king mattress felt like a wookiee had jumped on it, creaky and rather uncomfortable. The pool's green, slimy appearance left a bit to be desired, and waiting for linens at 12:45 AM wasn’t ideal.

Delightful stay despite minor flaws

We were welcomed warmly, and the kitchenette made it easy to prepare meals. The nearby lobster roll spots became our favorite after a day of exploring.

Though our room was clean, it faced the noisy highway which disrupted our peaceful mornings. The lack of dish-towels made cooking a bit cumbersome.

The hotel features a well-equipped kitchenette, making it easy to prepare quick meals. The front desk staff provided exceptional service, greeting us warmly upon arrival. Additionally, the peaceful ambiance helped us unwind after our day out. I appreciated the easy access to nearby restaurants, especially since we wanted to grab some delicious lobster rolls during our stay.

Unfortunately, the pool area was unutilized during our two-night stay as we were busy exploring the area and missed our chance to swim.

The staff provided us with breakfast snacks for our long drive, which was a thoughtful gesture. The gym facilities also stood out during our short stay.

The pool was closed, which was disappointing as we had planned to use it. Additionally, our room was located near the smoking area, resulting in an unpleasant smell in the hallway.

i celebrated my birthday here and was pleasantly surprised by how much the stay exceeded my expectations. the complimentary breakfast featured fresh pastries and fruit, and the spacious king room was a cozy retreat. the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home during my stay.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Ascend Hotel. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, providing quick assistance when needed. The room was spacious and well-designed, making it comfortable for my work needs. Additionally, the grab-and-go breakfast options were convenient and provided a good start to my days.

The Garrison Hotel & Suites Dover-Portsmouth has a beautifully designed lobby with cozy seating and a lovely fire pit outside, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It is also easily navigable for seniors, making it perfect for my stay.

I had a lovely stay at Ascend Hotel. The staff's warmth impressed me, and the complimentary breakfast was both simple and satisfying. Although the pool was closed, the inviting decor and comfortable surroundings made my visit enjoyable.

The room was super clean and the bed was really comfy. Pillows could've been better, though. It had a nice layout and felt cozy overall. No complaints about the temperature or noise, which was nice. Just a solid space to relax after a long day.
